E3 is already past us and has featured some more video games that are expected in the coming few months. Some of these games are slightly anticipated while some are greatly anticipated. E3 may have gone but paved way for the start of hype. And, to keep you updated on those games that have really kept the E3 crowd on their feet, today we present you with a list of 10 most expected PS4 games for the 3rd and 4th quarters of year 2017.
01. Life is Strange: Before the Storm
This upcoming adventure game is a creation of Deck Nine published by Square Enix. The game shall be divided into installments with the first one scheduled for release on August 31, 2017 for your Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Much like the earlier game, this one is a story-driven, third-person graphic adventure game. This game story forms a prequel to Life is Strange featuring Chloe Price, a character from the preceding game at the time of her tender years. It’s set three years prior to the happenings in the first game with the 16-year old Chloe Price being the central character.
02. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

The game is actually a standalone extension to the Uncharted video game series. 05. Destiny 2
This is a forthcoming online first-person shooter game scheduled for release on console on September 6 and October 24 on PC. It is a development of Destiny, released in 2014. Destiny 2 is developed by Bungie assisted by High Moon Studios together with Vicarous Visions, will be published by Activision.
The game comes a year after the events of Destiny – Rise of Iron, in which a military empire of giant amphibians known as the Red Legion under General Dominus Ghaul stages an attack on the Last City. The helpless Guardians need fresh powers in order to overcome General Ghaul and his Red Legion, and also move to other worlds under the Destiny universe.
06. Assassin’s Creed: Origins
This upcoming game by Ubisoft is the 10th episode in the Assassin’s Creed video game series. You can expect the game on your PS4, Xbox or Microsoft Windows PC on October 27, 2017. The game comes as a successor to the Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, released in 2015. However, story-wise, it acts as a trendsetter to the whole series, focusing on the origins of the Assassin’s and the Templers together with the struggle between the two.
Much like earlier episodes in the series, Origins is a third-person action-adventure game that presents you with lots of stealth technicalities. However, the game-play comes with some changes too. For instance, in order to advance through the story, you’ll need to wrap up linear quests with predefined objectives. And, outside the linear expedition scenarios, you’re free to rove the open world on horse, boat or by foot.
This game’s story is set in Ptolemaic Egypt. You’ll be playing to gain control over Bayek, the very last of the Medjay who planned for the Secret Order of Assassins to save the people of Egypt from the Knights of Templar.
07. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
The New Colossus, one of the most expected PS4 games, is the 7th episode in the Wolfenstein series first released in 2001 with Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Much like the earlier episodes in this series, this game allows you to gain control over William B.J. in his battle with the Nazis. This game by MachineGames published by Bethesda Softworks is scheduled for release on October 27, 2017.
The game’s story is set in a 1961 Nazi-occupied America, with B.J, once more leading a Resistance aiming to drive out the Nazis from his country. However, he first needs to make a comeback after hardly surviving from his war with General Wilhelm in the preceding game.
08. Gran Turismo Sport
Gran Turismo Sport or GT Sport in short is a racing simulation video game created by Polyphony Digital. The upcoming game shall be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. GT Sport is the 13th episode of the Gran Turismo video games series but the first to be released to your PS4.
The game features three game play modes – Campaign Mode, Sports Mode and Arcade Mode. You can also opt to race online or offline. And, unlike the past two episodes which comes with day and night cycle together with a lively weather, this one enables you customize time of the day of your race. In this game, you’ll have 177 cars to select from and 19 tracks to race on. Expect this game as from October 17, 2017.
09. Star Wars Battlefront II
This forthcoming futuristic action shooter game from Electronics Art has its basis on the Stars Franchise. It’s the fourth major episode in the Battlefront series, without taking into account the other three titles released on your handheld devices. While the preceding installment emphasized multiplayer game-play more than single player, this one comes with a story mode single player campaign. This campaign features Iden Versio as the central character, who takes part in events that leads up to The Force Awakens.
